Most importantly, however, our brand bears our family name, and our quality of work affects our reputation.
This gave birth to our slogan which translates into the understanding that your dream home is as important to us as our family name, ensuring that nothing but the best will be good enough when it comes to making your dream home a reality.

Our Heritage
Grundman Construction entered the construction industry back in 1982 when the founder, Harry Grundman, realized his independence in wanting to have a more personalized experience in doing what he loved, constructing beautiful homes.
Harry's father began his building career back in 1895 and passed on his knowledge and skillsets to his son from the age of 16, Harry's career mainly was made up with projects in the Government sector before he set out on his course in 1982 where he started the Grundman Construction brand.
Eight years later in 1990, Andre and Clint Grundman joined their father and assisted in running the business, slowly but surely growing the business's reputation in the local community as a trustworthy, hard-working, and transparent construction company.
In 2005, Tyrell Grundman joined the company with an eye for what the future of the business may hold and took the reigns as CEO around 2010. He has grown the brand into what you see today, a widely known, trusted, reputable, and community-centric brand that has its eyes set on expanding throughout the Western Cape as the family-home construction company of choice.
With these values in place, the business has a bullet-proof attitude in doing the job right and prides itself in not only its paid-for projects but also its charity operations that help uplift the community.
From assisting the Neighbourhood Watch with the LRP projects to building the braai area for Bothasig SAPS and many other smaller charity projects in-between.
We look forward to where the next 40 years will take us and making many more families' dream homes a Grundman-built reality.
